YEREVAN. – Extremely high air temperatures are expected in Armenia in the coming days, and this means the temperatures will rise again, reported Haykakan Zhamanak.
“[But] even without it, as they say, the situation is [already] bad.
“Meteorologists forecast a 40 degree-heat for today [i.e. Friday].
“At any rate, if an extremely high temperature is expected in the coming days and the Hydromet[eorology and Monitoring State Service of Armenia] will make an announcement about it, this means that the temperature may even cross the +42 threshold, which is a record for [capital city] Yerevan,” wrote Haykakan Zhamanak.
