YEREVAN. – Haykakan Zhamanak daily has learned that there is a sharp fall in business in the world-renowned French Carrefour hypermarket chain’s branch in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, reported the daily.  

“Moreover, the decline reaches more than 10 percent every month, as compared to the previous [month].

“Our sources inform that the volume of trade in this huge supermarket is close to the volume of trade of an average regular store.

“According to some assessments, this is primarily due to the pricing policy which Carrefour conducts, wrote Haykakan Zhamanak.
