YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily has learned that, after the rising border tension, the staff of the 911 service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia is assigned to duty in the country’s villages that border Azerbaijan. 

“The rescuers on duty have also been allocated weapons, since it is not ruled out that, simultaneously with the shelling, the Azerbaijani saboteurs may [also] infiltrate into the rear, as it happened last year.

“According to Zhoghovurd’s reports, the matter is currently in the phase of legislative regulation,” wrote Zhoghovurd.
