YEREVAN. – Two extremely anti-Armenian draft resolutions will be debated at the January winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

“On November 23, the PACE Social Committee will discuss the report named ‘the border regions of Azerbaijan are intentionally deprived of water,’ which refers to the Sarsang Reservoir in NKR [i.e. the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic]. There is no longer any chance of overturning it.

“To remind, the same [PACE winter] session will also discuss R. [i.e. Robert] Walter’s [(United Kingdom, EC)] ‘Escalation of Violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and Other Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan’] draft resolution passed 15 days ago, whereby it is demanded that the Armenian troops be withdrawn from ‘the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.’

“But that’s not all. The 17th point in Walter’s report had spoken about punishing Armenia’s delegation to PACE,” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
