YEREVAN. – There are talks again that National Assembly of Armenia member and former Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian will soon announce about forming a political party, around which there was talk since last year, according to Hraparak daily.

“According to some reports, the (…) the pro-Kocharyan [i.e. second president Robert Kocharyan] wing of the PAP [i.e. the opposition Prosperous Armenia Party], including [MP] Stepan Margaryan, will form the core of the party.

“Oskanian yesterday [i.e. Tuesday] refused to respond to our questions, whereas Stepan Margaryan, in response to the questions about the party which Oskanian will form, said: ‘Everyone is concerned for his political future, including himself, and we soon will learn about it,’” Hraparak wrote.
