YEREVAN. – Haykakan Zhamanak daily has learned that former Prime Minister, ruling Republican Party of Armenia National Assembly Faction member Khosrov Harutyunyan’s son Robert Harutyunyan, who until recently was Eurasian Economic Union Board member minister, will be appointed Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia (RA), according to the daily.
“Let us recall that on February 19, [President] Serzh Sargsyan had stated, during the talk with representatives of the RA diplomatic corps, that he made a decision and [that] we will have a Deputy [Foreign] Minister, in the near future at the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who will especially deal with external economic matters,” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
