Yerkir: Armenian opposition’s lawyer’s Toyota is seized
March 13, 2012“And the lawyer failed to pay her tax liabilities because she herself was not paid for her legal services provided to [the opposition] Armenian National Congress [ANC] member Tigran Arakelyan.
In an interview with Yerkir, the attorney noted that she was promised that she would be paid soon, but a precise date was not given.
‘I do not know who was to make the payments. I assume the Congress was to make [them],’ she noted, and added that she works with ANC since March 2008, and no such problems had occurred since then,” Yerkir writes.
