YEREVAN. – A criminal case was launched against Vazgen Ohanyan, 25, who had attempted to rape Susanna Beknazaryan, 69, in Armenia’s Ijevan city on October 31, 2011, Aravot daily writes.  

Ohanyan is under arrest.

Tavush Regional Prosecutor’s Office informed that, as a result of the forensic psychiatric evaluation, Vazgen Ohanyan was found to be sane. 

The criminal case will be forwarded to the Tavush Regional Court of First Instance, Aravot writes.
