Hraparak: Prosperous Armenia Party leader confesses to carrying weapon while meeting with voters
April 21, 2012YEREVAN. – During his parliamentary election campaign meeting in Bagratashen village on Friday, the ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan confirmed having carried a weapon during his meeting with the voters in Etchmiadzin city, Hraparak daily writes.
‘“If I’m walking around with a weapon, I’m scared that you’ll cause a calamity for me. They wrote that Tsarukyan carried a weapon, the people love Tsarukyan, [and] Tsarukyan [loves] the people,’ Tsarukyan said, [thus] making a liar out of all those who until then were claiming that there was no weapon whatsoever, but only a telephone,” Hraparak writes.
