YEREVAN. – Following the May 6 National Assembly elections, the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) now faces the matter of appointing the head of the future Government, Yerkir daily writes.

“Our sources claim that the PM’s matter has disturbed the Republicans’ peace. The RPA youth wing’s wish is to again see Tigran Sargsyan in the office of the country’s PM, whereas the elders believe his administration will roll the country into the abyss once and for all.

[But] Both sides well understand that nothing is dependent on them. The sole decider is the republic’s President [and RPA Chairman Serzh Sargsyan], who alone assumed the entire burden of the [election] campaign,” Yerkir writes.
