YEREVAN. – The members of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) seem to have gone deep underground in recent days, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.  

“They, almost without exception, are avoiding contact with news reporters. The situation is quite tense and in a standby mode at the Prosperous. It is assumed that [PAP Chairman Gagik] Tsarukyan’s team members do not have the boss’ ‘consent’ for making any statements. Even Tsarukyan’s spokesperson Khachik Galstyan’s cell phone is switched off. 

Information was spread yesterday [Tuesday] that Tsarukyan has relieved Galstyan of his spokesperson’s duties. But we were unable to verify this information because of the aforementioned reasons,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
