June 06, 2012YEREVAN. – Zohrab Balabekyan—who was one of the three Armenian military servicemen who were killed as a result of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces’ cease-fire violation and diversion operations on Monday and at the northeastern sector of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border—was recruited from Gavar City Military Commissariat, and he was to be discharged from the army a mere five days later, Yerkir daily writes.
“Two days prior to the incident, the soldier had called home, with high spirits, and said what clothes they should buy for him,” Yerkir writes.
