Hraparak: Armenia’s ruling party MPs must report to faction before giving interviews

June 20, 2012

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s ruling Republican Party (RPA) National Assembly Faction leader Galust Sahakyan reflected on RPA MP’s interviews, or their participation in press conferences, Hraparak daily writes.

“Sahakyan said everyone is free to express their views, but it is preferable to inform the Faction prior to going on TV or to a press conference, so they may see and listen to their fellow party member.

[And RPA MP] Sedrak Saroyan reacted to Galust Sahakyan’s statement and said: ‘When they want an interview from me, I say Galust Sahakyan is not permitting,’” Hraparak writes.
