YEREVAN. – The Armenian authorities’ actions in the campaign season for the forthcoming capital city Yerevan Council election, specifically in terms of getting votes, are becoming increasingly funny, Hraparak daily reports.

“In actual fact, this time the election bribe ‘menu’ is diverse, from grocery to money.

They recently have distributed eggs in [Yerevan’s] Nork-Marash community to get votes for the authorities.

According to the voters, they distributed boxes of eggs, which is equivalent to 5,000 drams [approx. $12], apiece,” Hraparak writes.
