YEREVAN. – The parliamentary faction of the—non-pro-government—Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) has quite drastic legislative initiatives, which it will announce in mid-August.    

PAP spokesperson Tigran Urikhanyan noted the abovementioned in an interview with Aravot daily.

“The PAP initiatives refer to the implementation of ‘drastic, radical’ reforms. Let us see whether the courage of the political majority and the other parliamentary colleagues will be enough to join it.  

“The position, which the political majority had adopted in securing the people’s income, is no longer expedient, and it has brought about a volatile societal situation,” Aravot quotes Urikhanyan as saying.
