YEREVAN. – Serob Bozoyan likewise will benefit from the Armenian National Assembly decision on declaring amnesty, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily reports.

To note, Bozoyan was sentenced to a one-year suspended sentence because of the balloon explosion and the resultant burns caused to about two hundred young people during the ruling Republican Party concert that was held at capital city Yerevan’s Republic Square on May 4, 2012.

“Bozoyan’s attorney Karen Manucharyan informed this to us.

“To note, Bozoyan is the sole defendant that was found guilty in the ‘Balloon’ case. He was in hospital for a long time due to health problems.

“To our query as to his health, the attorney said: ‘I saw him once on the street; he looked sick, even though he told me he was fine,’” Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun writes.
