YEREVAN. – Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan is conducting active talks, in recent times in Moscow, with representatives of the Russian establishment, Hraparak daily reports.

“The thing is that the news, according to which [Russian PM Dmitry] Medvedev will bid farewell to his position in January and [former Minister of Finance] Alexei Kudrin will be his more likely replacement, is already is gathering momentum in the backstage of [official] Moscow

“This prospect has really inspired future Customs Union member Armenia’s several politicians, who believe that this occurrence would spread onto Armenia, too, like a domino effect, and [therefore] everyone,  in their turn, are attempting to receive the favor of [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, who will arrive in Armenia on December 2, [and] his team,” Hraparak writes.
