YEREVAN. – It seems Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s government does not plan to carry out President Serzh Sargsyan’s instructions, Zhoghovurd daily reports.

“In line with the national statistics data, Armenia’s economic indicator made up 3.2 percent for the nine months of this year. Between the months of January and September, a 5.6-percent growth was recorded in Armenia, whereas the average monthly wage increase was a mere 4 percent; this, however, means that people continue to live even worse.

“These numbers are interesting especially against the backdrop of the announcement that Serzh Sargsyan made during his talk on March 18 with journalists, when he said he expects from the government that the growth in wages be more than the inflation.

“[But] Armenia’s official statistics shows how the growth in wages exceeds inflation,” Zhoghovurd writes.
