YEREVAN. – Although the economic growth in Armenia will not reach the indicated amount this year, there will be no Cabinet resignations, Zhamanak daily reports.

“According to Zhamanak’s sources, [President and ruling Republican Party (RPA) Chairman] Serzh Sargsyan hinted this at the Republican Party meetings.

“Even though Sargsyan expressed regret that the economic growth will not be at 7 percent that they expect, he said they will attempt to fill the gap next year.

“According to the RPA Board members, he was in an active dialogue with [PM Tigran] Sargsyan and he had him engaged in some discussions.

“From this manner it became clear to those present that a prime ministerial change is not planned,” Zhamanak writes.
