YEREVAN. – There were solely three representatives Tuesday from the 161,000-strong ruling Republican Party of Armenia’s (RPA) Central Office, which is silent after the capital city Yerevan council elections, Hraparak daily reports.

“On the first floor, the Internet, the sole occupation of the technical staff and the assistants, was not working. The connection was restored at the end of the day, [but] the activeness was not restored.

“[But] the office will become somewhat lively tomorrow [i.e., Thursday], on the occasion of the forthcoming [RPA] SB [i.e., the Supreme Body] session.

“According to the well-informed, this time the SB will discuss geopolitical matters.

“To the query as to what extent he [i.e., RPA leader and President Serzh Sargsyan] informs the SB about the ‘details’ of [his] meeting with [Azerbaijani president Ilham] Aliyev, the RPA geopolitologists responded: ‘It depends on the time. He sometimes presents the partial details, and sometimes the mere philosophy,’” Hraparak writes.
