YEREVAN. – In an interview with Zhoghovurd daily, ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Vice-Chairman, RPA National Assembly Faction leader Galust Sahakyan revealed a big secret of the incumbent authorities, the daily reports.

‘“The RPA will leave power when the Artsakh [i.e., Nagorno-Karabakh] issue is resolved, [and] when Armenia gets on the track of development and begins to develop,’ Sahakyan explained.

“Zhoghovurd asked when that day will come. As per Galust Sahakyan, ‘Wait fifty more years.’         

“Thus the RPA vice-chairman confessed as to why the Armenian [incumbent] authorities continue to keep the country under miserable and harsh conditions, so that they may rule the people with their methods for another fifty years,” Zhoghovurd writes.
