YEREVAN. – The income of Tatoul Markarian, Armenian Ambassador to the United States, is increasing with a quite remarkable pattern: by $10,000 per year, Zhoghovurd daily reports.

“Although the ambassador receives an annual salary of $3,617, the $25,000, which he had at the beginning of 2011, has become $35,000 at the end of the year. And his savings have increased becoming $45,000 at the end of 2012.

“With a noteworthy coincidence, the ambassador’s wife, Anahit Adumian, is richer than her husband several times. Her funds have turned from $100,000 to $150,000 at the end of 2012,” Zhoghovurd writes.
