YEREVAN. – It appears that Armenia and Georgia do not have an agreement on cooperation in the tourism sector to this day, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.

“Never mind that our [authorities] prefer to lift the visa requirements with Macau region of China, or go on cruises, at the minister’s level, to [countries like] Burkina Faso.

“The Government of Armenia will only now ratify an agreement, at least at the regional level, with the neighboring country [Georgia], which has sea and is a tourism country.

“The matter is included on the agenda of the next Cabinet meeting,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
