YEREVAN. – At the invitation of the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan on Saturday will head to Sochi, Russia, to attend the closing ceremony of the 2014 Winter Olympics that are held in this city, Hraparak daily reports.

“[But Sargsyan will travel to Sochi] with his own “cumulative” team: [Finance Minister] Davit Sargsyan, [Government Chief of Staff-Minister] Vache Gabrielyan, [and], [Deputy Minister of Economy] Karine Minasyan.

“In Sochi, the Armenian ‘cumulatives,’ together with Medvedev, were to be on hand at the [Olympic] [men’s] hockey final.

Russia, which is being defeated at [Ukrainian capital city Kyiv’s] Maidan, had ‘reckoned’ that the Russian [national] team would definitely reach the final, but, alas.

“[But] the Sargsyan-Medvedev talk will compensate hockey,” Hraparak writes.
