YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan assured that the ongoing developments in Ukraine will not take place in Armenia, too, 168 Zham daily reports.

‘“First, the position of our political team and the leader of our political team has always been that we need to build bridges of dialogue with our opponents.

‘“Second, it is not a secret that we have economic problems, and we ourselves raise these matters. Our doors are always open for any offer for cooperation, which likewise creates a qualitatively different climate.

““Third, and most important, is the position of our people. Our people have passed that road and we know the perils of that road, and this has been a lesson for the authorities, all political parties, and our people will manifest their deep wisdom, prudence in this case, too.

““The fourth factor is that the overwhelming majority of our people support us on the course of the foreign policy. And the political decision, which the President of the country has made with respect to the Customs Union accession, was approved by the vast majority of our population,’ he explained,” 168 Zham writes.
