YEREVAN. – Friday was Tigran Sargsyan’s last working day as Prime Minister of Armenia, Hraparak daily reported.

“He had come to work, assembled the Cabinet members, the ministers, thanked them for the long-term joint work, and bid [them] farewell.

“The inner circles claim that Sargsyan just wants to relax and does not wish to hold any position, albeit there are rumors about the invitations from international financial institutions as well as heading the Presidential Staff, should Vigen Sargsyan becomes PM, or FM.

“As for the other ministers, who [now] have become acting officials, they were quite uneasy.

“In his remarks yesterday [Friday] at the CB [Central Bank], [President] Serzh Sargsyan openly declared that a quite serious ‘tuning’ will be made at the government’s new cabinet; numerous ministers will leave their posts,” Hraparak wrote.

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan on Thursday offered his resignation to President Serzh Sargsyan, and the President accepted the PM’s resignation.
