YEREVAN. – The Zhoghovurd daily’s well-informed sources report that Armenia’s now former Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has also been offered to head the ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, the daily reported.

“It was taken into account the fact that Sargsyan has directed the CB [Central Bank] of Armenia for ten years, and he is considered to be one of the founders of the Armenian banking system.

“We also managed to find out that Tigran Sargsyan met with the French management of the bank, but a final decision has not yet been made, since he has several other job offers.

“Sargsyan was also offered to work as Armenia’s ambassador to Belgium, RF [Russian Federation], or the US, but Sargsyan has not yet made any definite decision.

“The thing is that Sargsyan does not want to leave the country, and that is why he is waiting for the best option,” Zhoghovurd wrote.
