YEREVAN. – Armenia’s former Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan, who is now the newly appointed National Assembly (NA) Chief of Staff, is contemplating on setting up NA internal rules of procedure, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

“Accordingly, certain criteria are envisioned to be set for both the MPs and the journalists who are accredited in the parliament; specifically, this is about setting up a ‘dress code,’ the journalists’ professional conduct, and one or two matters of this sort.

“All this, however, is very preliminary, and it is hard to say whether or not it will be carried out. 

“At any rate, in recent times the MPs’ likewise are speaking about the need for setting up some new rules [at the parliament],” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
