YEREVAN. – The Armenian lawmaking women’s obsession of going on business trips has grown so much that National Assembly (NA) Speaker Galust Sahakyan was forced to violate the regulations, Hraparak daily reported.

“At the forefront of the battle are RPA [ruling Republican Party parliament female] members Margarit Yesayan and Ruzanna Muradyan as a result of whose persistent efforts, the NA leadership, [going] contrary to the rules, has increased the makeup of the [NA] delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union thus exceeding the allowed [number].  

“They have turned the maximum 9-member composition into ten, whereas there are a maximum of 7-8 MPs in other groups,” Hraparak wrote.
