YEREVAN. – Former Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, who has been appointed Armenia’s Ambassador to US, will travel there in two days, but, for now, without his family, Hraparak daily reported.

“First, his accommodation issue must be resolved, [and] he will present his credentials to US authorities. He will take his family members [to US] solely after settling in.

“As for the Embassy staff and replacing it with his own team, it can be assumed that if he was unable to form his own team while working as PM for six years, he will be unable to [do so] in his capacity as ambassador, too.

“The [Armenian] Ministry of Foreign Affairs will decide on whether or not the [current] Embassy staff will stay,” Hraparak wrote.
