YEREVAN. – The airplane ticket prices have increased in Armenia for the past fifteen to twenty days, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

“The companies that sell plane tickets have told this to us. Furthermore, the [prices of the] Yerevan-Moscow plane tickets, which are in the greatest demand, have increased.

“A company employee informed our reporter that, instead  of [the previous] 98,000 drams [approx. $240], a round-trip to [and from] Moscow now costs 150,000 drams [approx. $366].

“Another company told us: ‘There has been some price increase. For example, we can offer a 133,000-dram [approx. $325] round-trip ticket to [and from] Moscow, which was previously 125,000 drams [approx. $305],’” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
