YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily has learned that non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader, oligarch Gagik Tsarukyan has hired special image-makers from abroad, and they are teaching him presidential etiquette, conduct, and protocol, the daily reported.   

“To verify the accuracy of the news, Zhoghovurd spoke with the PAP Chairman’s spokesperson Iveta Tonoyan, who said:   

‘“Gagik Tsarukyan has a staff comprising various specialists. In addition to that, the PAP Chairman has various meetings with people and groups from a variety of professions. These meetings are regular, and groups and people not solely from Armenia, but persons who play a major role in numerous domains abroad also participate in them.’ 

“So, it should be noted that Tsarukyan already has started preparing for the [forthcoming] presidential elections, and he is attempting to be like a president, at least with etiquette,” Zhoghovurd wrote.
