YEREVAN. – The ostrich business of Armenia’s former Energy and Natural Resources Minister Armen Movsisyan, who is now Advisor to the President, is developing with success, 168 Zham daily reported. 

“According to reliable information, his ostrich farm is located in Agarak village of Syunik Region. Around 400-500 ostriches are now growing in the former barns of the community.

“The company is called AKVILON-M. AKVILON-M is registered as a meat producer, although it is known that the feathers, skin, eggs and membranes of these exotic animals also are highly valued in the world. 

“In the world, including in Armenia, ostrich farming is considered one of the most profitable businesses,” 168 Zham wrote.
