YEREVAN. – The world-renowned French Carrefour hypermarket chain’s opening in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan is put off yet again, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

“We learned the aforesaid from Yerevan Mall, on whose first floor a 6,600-square-meter space is provided for Carrefour.

“The Yerevan Mall administration informed that the hypermarket opening is delayed until the end of November, or December, due to construction.

“And a worker at the Carrefour construction site said the maximum period for the opening of the hypermarket is January of next year,” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
