YEREVAN. – It is an undeniable fact that there were more people around opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader and First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan six years ago than today, Zhoghovurd daily reported.

“Many people were unhappy with Ter-Petrosyan’s aloof attitude, that he always kept himself on a high pedestal, [and] he would not enter into contact, often communicating through intermediaries.

“But, now, it seems that Ter-Petrosyan has come down from his high chair to the point that he goes to the home, or office of [non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party] PAP Chairman [and oligarch Gagik] Tsarukyan, does not sit in the primary place, and discusses something.

“It is a fact that the ANC-PAP closeness is having overt manifestations,” Zhoghovurd wrote.
