YEREVAN. – Hraparak has learned that Armenia’s Ambassador to US, former PM Tigran Sargsyan is working with the White House and international financial institutions in the US, which, however, is beyond the scope of his duties as ambassador, the daily reported.   

“[But] the thing that he is working with these organizations already around for 23 years—in the [19]90s, as Armenia Supreme Council Committee on Financial-Credit Affairs chairman; ten years as Armenia CB [Central Bank] chairman; and six years as Armenia PM—probably plays a role.   

“It is possible that he hopes to return to his former position,” Hraparak wrote.
