YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has some problems in terms of international perception and foreign contacts, Zhoghovurd daily reported.

“Since his appointment as PM, the geographical scope of his foreign visits has not gone beyond the ‘dear’ EaEU [i.e., the Eurasian Economic Union]. During his five months in office, the Premier has visited solely Russia and Belarus.

“Zhoghovurd has learned [, however,] that the Government of Armenia has instructed the [Armenian] diplomatic corps to make maximum efforts to set up for Hovik Abrahamyan a working visit with an impressive agenda, in a foreseeable future, to any influential country.

“So far, however, the [Armenian] ambassadors’ efforts are fruitless,” Zhoghovurd wrote.
