YEREVAN. – Governor Aram Harutyunyan of Armenia’s Kotayk Region had spent his vacation in Great Britain, Chorrord Ishkhanutyun daily had reported.

“According to our source at the [Kotayk] Governor’s Office, he bought an apartment in Great Britain with quite a lot of money, which he registered under the name of a relative.

“After taking care of the apartment acquisition deal, Harutyunyan left his two daughters there, whereas he returned to Armenia to continue the regional governor’s job.

“We also learned that, after returning, he put up for sale the RepIndustryProject Institute building, in Downtown [capital city] Yerevan, which he had privatized for peanuts when he was minister,” Chorrord Ishkhanutyun wrote.
