YEREVAN. – The official statistical data, which are issued recently in Armenia, speak to the fact that the country is entering a phase of financial and economic crisis, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

“The situation is very similar to the situation in 2008-2009.  

“Just as five years ago, a decrease in remittances, passivity in the real estate market, decline in foreign investment, [and] worsening industry indicators is recorded in Armenia.

“[But] the difference is that these processes are slower now than five years ago,” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
