YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily has learned that the leaders of Armenia’s non-government trio cannot reach an agreement on opposition Heritage Party Chairman, ex-presidential candidate, and former FM Raffi Hovannisian’s address which he will deliver at the next rally, the daily reported.

“According to the agreement, Raffi Hovannisian should make the keynote speech at the next rally. [Non-pro-government] PAP [i.e., Prosperous Armenia Party] leader Gagik Tsarukyan and ANC [i.e., opposition Armenian National Congress] Party leader [and First President] Levon Ter-Petrosyan, however, have concerns related to his speech.

“Considering Hovannisian’s unpredictable nature, the leaders want the speech to be agreed with at the level of the leaders of the trio [i.e., ANC, PAP, and Heritage]. This idea [, however,] is not to Raffi Hovannisian’s liking, and the parties still cannot reach an agreement,” Zhoghovurd wrote.
