YEREVAN. – The agreement signed between Armenia and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member countries, and whereby Armenia will become a member in this union, has not yet been sent to the Constitutional Court of Armenia, and therefore it is not yet put on the agenda of the country’s National Assembly (NA), 168 Zham daily reported.

“But the NA MPs are actively discussing the question of how many votes against it will this agreement receive should it be put to a vote [at the NA].

“Thus, [according to calculations,] the number of those who will [openly] vote against [it] will not exceed seven MPs, at best, which is slightly more than 5 percent than the total number of the deputies of the parliament of Armenia. The remaining 95 percent are either for, or, [despite] being against [it], will not dare to declare it out loud,” 168 Zham wrote.
