YEREVAN. – Armenia-European Union (EU) relations are more than just money. The Deputy Head of Mission of the British Embassy in Armenia, Consul Amias Moores, told this to the reporter of 168 Zham daily, the latter wrote.

“At any rate, he expressed the hope that sound relations will continue to develop between Armenia and the European Union even after Armenia’s EEU [i.e., the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union] accession.

“How will the EEU accession affect Armenia-EU relations? And is the European Union ready for closer relations with Armenia?    

“In response to this question of ours, Moores said that the European Union is waiting for a response from Armenia,” 168 Zham reported.
