YEREVAN. – Armenian Parliament Speaker Samvel Nikoyan received Latvian Ambassador Gints Apals.

The sides touched upon issues of bilateral relations, their activation, enlargement of cooperation fields, inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as mutually agreed actions in the international institutions, including PACE, OSCE, Inter-Parliamentary Union.

The parties showed interest on enlarging and deepening relations between Armenia and Latvia, in particular, in the spheres of politics, economics, science and culture.

In addition, the Ambassador invited Nikoyan to Latvia after the parliamentary elections.
