The special representative of UN and Arab League Kofi Annan hopes, that the UN Security Council would adopt a resolution permitting to send unarmed observers to Syria.
According to its representative Ahmad Fauzi, the document will only mention that the observers will be sent. More than 100 people will be included in the first group.
If the situation in Syria does not change, the UN will discuss the issue of sending the rest 250 thousand unarmed observers, EFE reports.
