BRATISLAVA. - Armenian community in Slovakia accompanied by guests put a wreath to the Armenian Genocide commemoration cross-stone, the Forum of Armenian Associations of Europe (FAAE) informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Head of the community Ashot Grigoryan thanked the authors for adopting the resolution on the Armenian Genocide in 2004 by the Slovakian National Council. Separate gratitude went to the Slovakia Supreme Court Chairman Stefan Harabin, who is the author of the bill criminalizing denial of the Genocide, put into action since 2009.

“There is hardly a man confessing human values, morals and justifying the Genocide. Those denying the Genocide will be sentenced for 5 years of imprisonment,” Harabin added.
