The Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: The official pre-election campaign for the NA [(National Assembly)] elections will launch on May 8. According to the Zhoghovurd daily’s information, 19 political forces are currently trying to clarify where they will launch [their campaign] from and in what format.

We have information that the opposition also aims to launch the campaign with a large rally. The authorities are also drawing up a plan on how they will launch the campaign. By the way, it is clear that the CC [i.e. Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract party and its parliamentary faction] members will again travel in buses to various provinces, in a live broadcast format via [PM] Nikol Pashinyan’s social [media] page.

Let us recall that even before the start of the campaign, Nikol Pashinyan and the CC members traveled in what they called a “happy bus” to various provinces of the RA, in various administrative districts of Yerevan, and conducted a campaign.
