YEREVAN. – Accusing the Heritage Party in cooperation with the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) especially by the former coalition member parties is beyond immorality, Heritage party MP Stepan Safaryan said at a press conference on Friday.

According to him, the society will decide on Heritage to be opposition and not other political parties or media outlets. Safaryan also regretted that due to a technical error the party will not have representatives in the election precincts. However, the gap will be filled with the trusted persons and observers.

Opposition Heritage Party is a liberal party founded in 2002. The leader is the first Armenian Foreign Minister Raffi Hovannisian.

Heritage and Free Democrats Party are running for the parliament with joint proportional list. 

The proportional list of the party includes members of extra-parliamentary opposition Free Democrats Party and civil society representatives.

Heritage has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
