Azerbaijan may make an official decision to sever relations with the European Parliament in response to the latter’s “biased” position towards Azerbaijan, an informed source told Trend.

Azerbaijan, which had previously effectively suspended ties with the European Parliament, is considering the option of completely severing relations with it. This matter is currently under discussion.

Accordingly, the draft resolution on EU support for Armenia's democratic resilience submitted at the European Parliament, despite the nature of the declared support, allegedly contains a number of provisions that “make unfounded accusations and demands against Azerbaijan.”
