If previously, the businessmen of Armenia and Azerbaijan had exchanged lists of goods through the governments of the two countries, now there is no such need. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this at a press briefing on Thursday, answering a question from Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The premier explained that from now on, businessmen from the two countries can work directly with each other. He added that the range of trade between Armenia and Azerbaijan may expand, although there is no clear agreement on this matter at the moment.

Pashinyan emphasized that he will not publicize the names of the Armenian businessmen who met with Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev who visited Armenia Wednesday, so that these businessmen are not targeted by certain circles.

Also, Nikol Pashinyan assured that the matter of Mustafayev visiting his birthplace—an Armenian village—was not discussed, and he was not there.
