We have never discussed and are not discussing the matter of resettling 300,000 Azerbaijanis in Armenia, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press briefing Thursday.

According to him, after a certain period of time, Armenia has also not discussed with Azerbaijan the matter of the return of Armenians to Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijani capital Baku, and other places. He added that discussing such matters has a provocative effect on the current political process and increases tension.

Pashinyan expressed confidence that there are two forces that are pushing these issues forward on their political agenda. He called it “cheap political speculation.”

"For example, I am convinced that the Kaluga oligarch [ed.: referring to the leader of the Strong Armenia party, Samvel Karapetyan) does not understand what he is talking about. He is being instructed, he says," Nikol Pashinyan added, ignoring the theories of the official Azerbaijani propaganda machine that refer to the "great return" and circulate the fake term "Western Azerbaijan."
